Meet The Staff
Dr. Regina Gurevich
Dr. Regina Gurevich is a pediatric dentist committed to offering comprehensive dental treatment to children of all ages with a wide variety of needs. Dr. Regina immigrated to Brooklyn at a young age and is devoted to providing care within the borough that she grew up in. Dr. Regina received her undergraduate education at New York University, where she was a Presidential Honors Scholar, and received her bachelor’s degree in psychology, with a minor in chemistry. She credits her psychology degree with helping her connect and understand the young minds of the children she treats.
Dr. Regina went on to NYU dental school where she partook in the pediatric honors program, which allowed her to dedicate extra hours providing care to children in addition to the rigorous dental school curriculum. After dental school, Dr. Regina completed her residency at NYU which allowed her to provide care both at the NYU dental clinic and Bellevue Hospital.
After completing residency, Dr. Regina has dedicated herself to learning more about breastfeeding and tethered oral tissues and ties. Dr. Regina is a certified lactation counselor with extensive training regarding tongue and lip ties including completion of the Tongue-Tied Academy coursework by Dr. Richard Baxter and training with the Solea laser under the renowned Dr. Lawrence Kotlow. As one of the few practitioners dual trained in dentistry and lactation, she is eager to serve the needs of infants and help mothers fulfill their breastfeeding desires.
Dr. Regina is a proponent of preventive care and minimally invasive dentistry, she strongly believes in early exposure to dental care to set the stage for a healthy mouth as the child grows and develops. Dr. Regina is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and American Dental Association.
In her spare time, Dr. Regina enjoys traveling, cooking and spending time with her family.
